Nigerian model Olajumoke Orisaguna, widely known as Olajumoke Onibread, has refuted allegations of substance abuse following reactions to a recent video she shared online.
The clip, posted on TikTok, showed the model performing a freestyle song, which led to speculation among some viewers who suggested she might be involved in smoking or drinking.
Responding to the claims via Instagram, Olajumoke expressed displeasure over the assumptions, stressing that the video was created strictly for entertainment.
She clarified that she does not engage in smoking or alcohol consumption, adding that such behaviour does not align with her upbringing. According to her, the misunderstanding arose from efforts to create engaging social media content.
The model appealed to fans and followers not to attach false narratives to her personality, emphasising that the performance in the video should not be taken beyond its intended purpose.
Olajumoke first gained national attention in 2016 after being discovered by photographer TY Bello while selling bread on the streets. Since then, she has built a career in modelling and media.
She has also returned to the spotlight as a radio presenter, hosting her talk show Kilon Shele, where she shares insights into her personal journey, including challenges she has faced in her career and private life.
Her recent clarification has sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporters backing her stance while others continue to debate the impact of social media content on public perception.
