Controversial relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has reacted to the reported death of Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo, who was said to have died in a Lagos hospital following a battle with stage 4 liver cancer, according to reports.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, she expressed shock and sorrow, posting a photo of the late actor alongside an emotional message condemning the disease.
“God will punish cancer. We waited for you to show up. You fought silently. Rest in peace,” she wrote.
Her reaction also appeared to reference her earlier public claim in 2026 about being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, a claim that later generated widespread controversy online.
At the time, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Delta State chapter, reportedly disputed the authenticity of medical documents she shared, alleging irregularities involving a diagnostic report issued by Xinus Medical Diagnostics and signed by a consultant pathologist.
The controversy later escalated after social media critic VeryDarkMan filed a petition that was reportedly approved by the Inspector-General of Police, calling for an official investigation into the matter.
Following the renewed attention around her past claims, Blessing CEO’s recent post has drawn mixed reactions across social media, with users linking her emotional message to the earlier controversy.
The reactions come amid continued tributes from fans and colleagues mourning the passing of Ekubo, who remains one of Nollywood’s widely recognised actors.
