Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard has become the sixth Gunners player to record an assist at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with no club producing more assist providers at the tournament.
The Belgian international set up Youri Tielemans‘s late equaliser in Belgium‘s dramatic 3-2 extra-time victory over Senegal in the Round of 32 on Monday. Trossard featured for 109 minutes as Belgium recovered to seal a place in the last 16.
Romelu Lukaku also found the net, while Tielemans scored twice to complete the comeback victory.
Belgium will now take on co-hosts United States in the Round of 16 next week.
