The Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has lauded the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, saying it is laying the foundation for long-term national development.
Uzodimma also said the performance of the administration justifies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term, as the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) announced plans to mobilise over 4.4 million canvassers ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He spoke at the Renewed Hope Ambassadors National Mobilisation Retreat at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, where political leaders and stakeholders gathered to strategise on grassroots mobilisation.
Speaking in his capacity as Director-General of the group, Uzodimma said Tinubu had shown courage in taking difficult decisions, noting that the reforms were beginning to yield results despite initial challenges.
He revealed that the group plans to deploy 25 canvassers per polling unit nationwide.
Governor Uba Sani, Deputy Director-General of the group, and APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, also commended the initiative, urging sustained grassroots engagement to deepen public support for government policies and reforms.
