Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has made a winning return to Chippa United, helping the South African club claim the Eastern Cape pre-season tournament title.
Chippa secured a 1-0 victory over Ravens FC in the semi-final before overcoming Highbury FC 4-2 on penalties in the final after the match ended 1-1 during regulation time.
Nwabali recently rejoined the Premier Soccer League side after ending his contract with the club five months ago.
The Nigeria international is expected to regain his role as Chippa United’s first-choice goalkeeper as the team prepares for the 2026/27 season.
