TikTok stars Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Elizabeth Amadu, known as Jarvis, are set to celebrate their white wedding today, marking the latest chapter in one of Nigeria’s most closely followed social media relationships.
The ceremony comes days after the couple held their traditional wedding on August 1, an event that attracted fellow content creators, celebrities and fans.
Peller has also ensured that followers who cannot attend the ceremony physically will not be left out.
Ahead of the wedding, the content creator announced that the event will be streamed live on Twitch and YouTube, giving fans an opportunity to follow the celebration remotely.
The broadcast is scheduled to begin ahead of the 3pm ceremony, with Peller saying the streaming links would be made available to viewers before the event.
The couple rose to prominence as one of Nigeria’s most recognisable TikTok duos through their playful videos, livestreams and public displays of affection, which regularly generated attention across social media.
Their relationship has remained a major talking point online, from their proposal to their traditional wedding and now their white wedding.
Although the couple has kept the wedding venue private, the decision to stream the ceremony is expected to give their large online following a front-row view of the celebration.
For Peller and Jarvis, today’s ceremony moves their widely followed online love story from social media into another major milestone — their formal white wedding.
