Premier League club Nottingham Forest have appointed Oliver Glasner as their new head coach, replacing Vitor Pereira, the club announced on Monday.
Glasner takes charge with the club expressing confidence in his ability to lead Forest into a new era, while the Austrian coach said the club’s long-term vision convinced him to accept the role.
“It was evident to me that they have a clear vision for this football club and complete trust and belief in me and my staff to build a strong future together over the long term,” Glasner said in a statement.
The appointment marks the end of Pereira’s tenure at the City Ground as Forest look to build on their ambitions under new leadership.
