Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has reportedly been moved from a prison cell due to health concerns while he remains in custody.
The development comes about two weeks after the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered his remand at Kuje prison for 26 days over ongoing criminal proceedings.
Blord was arraigned on multiple counts, including allegations of impersonation involving social media personality VeryDarkMan, as well as forgery-related charges.
In a recent update shared on Instagram, VeryDarkMan claimed that Blord has been unwell since April 6, 2026, and suggested that he was transferred within the facility due to his health condition.
He also shared alleged details describing internal movement within the prison, stating that Blord was relocated from a section referred to as “Egypt 2” to segregation for medical reasons.
According to the circulating claims, the area described as “Egypt 2” is a high-security section within Kuje prison said to house inmates facing serious offences.
VeryDarkMan further commented on the broader case, stating that efforts to secure Blord’s release or discontinue proceedings had not been successful, while also making remarks directed at activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore.
Sowore had previously criticised the manner and speed of Blord’s remand, alleging misconduct and raising concerns about the legal process. He also accused VeryDarkMan and his legal team of exerting undue pressure in the case.
As of the time of filing this report, authorities have not independently confirmed the alleged transfer or details surrounding Blord’s current medical condition.
