Nigerian social media personality Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has spoken about his time at the Kuje Correctional Centre, describing aspects of the facility as structured and unexpectedly comfortable.
Blord made the comments during a recent interview circulating online, where he reflected on what he described as a “VIP section” within the correctional centre.
According to him, certain areas of the facility are reserved for high-profile individuals, with conditions that differ from the general inmate population.
He likened parts of the environment to a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp, suggesting that the experience felt organised and routine-based.
Blord also claimed that during his stay, he was accommodated in a section equipped with basic home appliances and additional conveniences.
He further described his daily routine as relatively relaxed, saying he had regular access to meals and rest.
“It was like a vacation. I sleep, wake up and eat. I even had a chef,” he said during the interview.
The influencer also alleged that inmates at the facility were welcoming and that he participated in recreational activities, including football matches organised during his stay.
Blord additionally compared his experience with that of social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, suggesting that circumstances inside the facility vary depending on the individual.
His comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with discussions continuing around conditions within Nigeria’s correctional centres.
