An image of President Donald Trump is set to appear on new limited-edition US passports to mark the country’s 250th anniversary in July, according to reports.
The design reportedly places Trump’s image alongside the text of the Declaration of Independence, with the American flag below. His signature is also said to appear in gold above the words “United States of America.”
The commemorative design is expected to be included on an inside page of newly issued passports, though it is not yet clear whether it will appear on stamp pages or identification sections.
Reports say the special edition will be limited and available only to applicants who apply in person at the Washington Passport Agency.
The move comes amid a series of proposals linked to Trump’s branding on national symbols, including currency and public institutions, though not all have been implemented.
Officials have not confirmed the design or its rollout.
