Afrobeats musician and instrumentalist Seun Kuti has taken residence in his newly completed mansion in Ikeja, Lagos, marking the completion of a project that began in 2024.
According to sources familiar with the development, construction of the multimillion-naira property was completed earlier this year. The mansion’s exterior has attracted attention online, with many comparing its appearance to that of a luxury five-star hotel.
The youngest son of late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti had previously given fans a glimpse of the building while it was still under construction through posts on his Instagram Story. After the project was completed, he shared new images of the finished residence and revealed its name as “The Bird’s Nest.”
Sources also disclosed that the property includes a fully equipped music production studio, a private lounge, and other modern amenities designed to support both residential living and creative work.
Images of the mansion have circulated widely on social media, where users have praised its architecture and size. Some commenters also noted that although Seun Kuti maintains a relatively low-key presence online, the new home reflects his success in the music industry.
The unveiling of “The Bird’s Nest” adds another milestone to the singer’s career, showcasing a space that combines luxury living with a dedicated environment for music production.
