Allies of President William Ruto now say his re-election in 2027 is no longer a question of if, but by how wide a margin he will win.
The leaders have sustained attacks against former President Uhuru Kenyatta over his continued criticism of the government. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has not been spared either, with the leaders dismissing his influence in the Mt Kenya region and daring him to make good on his threats to politically isolate President Ruto from the region.
