The Recording Academy has announced the official schedule for the 2027 Grammy Awards, outlining key dates for nominations, voting, and the main ceremony.
According to the Academy, nominations for the 2027 edition will be unveiled on November 16, 2026, while the awards ceremony is scheduled to hold on February 7, 2027.
Eligible recordings and albums must have been released within the submission window running from August 31, 2025, to August 28, 2026, the organisers confirmed.
The main event will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on ABC. Viewers will also be able to stream the ceremony on Disney+ and Hulu.
In a statement shared via Instagram, the Recording Academy described the rollout as the beginning of the journey toward “Music’s Biggest Night,” encouraging artists and stakeholders to prepare for submissions, nominations, and voting phases.
The 2027 ceremony is particularly notable as it marks a broadcast transition for the Grammys, ending a long-running partnership with CBS after more than 50 years.
The shift signals a new era for the awards as the Academy expands its distribution across multiple platforms, including streaming services, in a bid to reach a broader global audience.
The Grammy Awards remain one of the most prestigious events in the international music calendar, celebrating outstanding achievements across genres and categories.
