In his new position, the 55-year-old will provide technical guidance to clubs within the City Football Group while also contributing to selected projects and collaborations.
Guardiola departs as the club’s longest-serving manager, overtaking Les McDowall when he oversees his 593rd and final match against Aston Villa on Sunday.
During his 10-year spell at the Etihad, he guided City to 20 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League crown in 2023.
