Chiamaka Nnadozie has praised Brighton following their dramatic FA Cup semi-final win over Liverpool in the English Women’s competition.
Brighton overturned a 2-0 deficit to secure a 3-2 comeback victory at the BrewDog Stadium.
Liverpool made a strong start and scored twice through Denise O’Sullivan and Beata Olsson to take early control of the match.
Before halftime, Manuela Vanegas pulled one back for Brighton to reduce the margin.
In the second half, Madison Haley restored parity for the Seagulls to level the contest.
Just as the match appeared set for extra time, Nadine Noordam struck deep into stoppage time to complete the turnaround.
Nnadozie expressed her joy over the result on social media.
“We are going to Wembley. Straight into the FA Cup finals. Super proud of this team. I give God the glory,” Nnadozie wrote on X.
Brighton will now face Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium this weekend.
