TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has dismissed speculation that she cut her hair as part of a traditional marriage ritual following her wedding to fellow content creator Peller.
The social media personality addressed the speculation in a video after completing her wedding celebrations, saying the decision had nothing to do with any marriage rite.
According to Jarvis, her hairstylist advised her to cut her hair to ensure that her planned hair installation would sit properly.
She explained that she had been experiencing difficulties with her frontal and other sections of her hair, making the haircut necessary for the desired result.
Jarvis expressed frustration with the speculation that connected her haircut to an alleged tribal tradition.
She said her stylist recommended the change because she has stubborn hair and had struggled to get her frontal to sit properly.
The clarification came shortly after Jarvis and Peller completed their wedding ceremonies.
The couple held their traditional wedding on August 1, 2026, before their white wedding followed on Saturday, August 8.
Jarvis also expressed happiness over the completion of the celebrations, saying she was proud of herself and her husband.
Her explanation has now put to rest the speculation surrounding the reason behind her new hairstyle, with the TikTok star attributing the decision solely to her hairstyling needs.
