Veteran Nigerian broadcaster Frank Edoho has opened up about his views on life, legacy, and emotional wellbeing, saying he does not want his death to be connected to any woman under any circumstance.
Edoho made the remarks during an interview on the Outside The Box Podcast, later re-uploaded on YouTube.
During the conversation, the media personality reflected on personal fulfilment, silent struggles faced by men, and the kind of legacy he hopes to leave behind.
According to him, his greatest desire is to live peacefully, impact people positively, and avoid carrying unresolved pain or regrets through life.
“I don’t want to go to the gates of heaven and they ask me what killed me and they say it’s a woman,” Edoho said.
He explained that his statement extended beyond romantic relationships, stressing that he would not want his death associated with emotional distress caused by any woman, including a daughter, wife, or mother.
“Whether that woman be my daughter, my wife, my mother, I don’t want that. I don’t want that to be my way out of this portal,” he added.
The veteran broadcaster also shared his thoughts on how he hopes to be remembered after death, saying he wants to leave the world knowing he brought joy to people he encountered.
Edoho said he hoped his only regret at the end of life would be wishing he had done more good for others.
“I want to die with a smile on my face, saying that all the people I met, I tried to put a smile on their face,” he said.
The broadcaster gained widespread popularity as the longtime host of the Nigerian edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, where he became one of the country’s most recognisable television personalities.
