Veteran broadcaster Frank Edoho has spoken publicly about the breakdown of his second marriage, revealing that he has been privately separated from his wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, for nearly two years.
In a statement shared on Instagram on Tuesday, the former host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire said he had already made peace emotionally with the situation long before it became public knowledge.
Edoho thanked supporters for the messages, prayers, and concern he received after reports of the separation surfaced online.
“Over the past few days, I’ve received an outpouring of kind messages, prayers, concern, and goodwill regarding my separation and ongoing divorce proceedings,” he wrote.
The media personality explained that while many people were only recently learning about the development, he had quietly lived through the experience over an extended period.
According to him, life progresses through different phases, and handling personal transitions privately can sometimes be the most dignified decision.
“Life unfolds in different seasons, and sometimes, moving forward quietly is the most dignified path one can take,” Edoho stated, adding that he remains focused, peaceful, and grateful for the continued support from fans and colleagues.
Before his marriage to Sandra Onyenucheya, Edoho was married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang. Their union ended in 2010 after seven years, and they share three children.
Edoho gained nationwide recognition in 2004 after becoming the face of the Nigerian edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? His style of presentation and trademark suspense during the game show earned him widespread popularity among viewers.
Following the programme’s hiatus in 2017, he returned as host when the show was revived in 2022.
Beyond television, Edoho is also known for his work as a voice-over artist and event host within Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
