Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, have moved their training camp to Ikenne in Ogun State as they step up preparations for their upcoming encounter with Guinea.
The team had previously spent about a month in Abuja, where they underwent the first phase of their build-up programme.
During their stay in the capital, Akeem Busari’s side played five friendly matches, securing four victories and recording one draw.
The first leg of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying tie against Guinea will take place in Conakry on Sunday, 24 May.
The return fixture is slated for the Remo Stars Stadium one week later.
The aggregate winner over both legs will secure qualification for the U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The tournament is scheduled to be hosted in Morocco from 17 October to 7 November 2026.
