Paris Saint-Germain emerged as the biggest winners at the 2025/26 UNFP Awards held in Paris on Monday, with forward Ousmane Dembélé clinching the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award.
The French star claimed the prize for the second time after an outstanding season for Paris Saint-Germain, ending the dominance of former teammate Kylian Mbappé, who won it five straight times before moving to Real Madrid.
Dembélé, who also won the 2025 Ballon d’Or and FIFA’s The Best award, has contributed 10 goals and six assists this season. Since the start of 2026, he has registered 12 direct goal involvements in the league, one behind Esteban Lepaul.
“This is an individual trophy, but all the individual trophies I’ve won are thanks to this team,” he said in a statement issued on Monday by PSG.
PSG youngster Désiré Doué received the Best Young Player award for his impressive displays this season.
Pierre Sage won Coach of the Year after leading Lens to a strong title challenge against PSG, while goalkeeper Robin Risser earned the Best Goalkeeper award.
Elsewhere, Michael Olise was named Best French Player Abroad following his performances for Bayern Munich.
