The competition concluded with Sporting Lagos clinching the title, narrowly surpassing Inter Lagos via goal difference on the final day. Biffo observed that the heightened caliber of the tournament has compelled participating teams to sharpen their focus and elevate their tactical discipline to avoid costly lapses.
The veteran coach noted that the evolution of the tournament’s structure has significantly boosted its prestige within the domestic football landscape. Reflecting on the tournament’s atmosphere for Sportslighthub, Biffo highlighted the pressure placed on the competing clubs.
“The improved organisation has transformed the perception of the NNL playoffs,” Biffo told Sportslighthub. “This Super four playoff is competitive and electrifying. The intensity has forced teams to be more cautious and has left little room for below-par performances.
