Cristiano Ronaldo has officially married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, in a civil ceremony in the Portuguese city of Cascais.
The Al-Nassr star and Rodriguez tied the knot on Tuesday, August 11, in an intimate ceremony attended by their five children and close family members.
The marriage comes one year after the couple announced their engagement, marking a new chapter in their relationship, which has lasted for nearly a decade.
Ronaldo announced the marriage in his usual understated manner. He shared a picture of the couple’s wedding rings on Instagram with the initials “C
G”.
A representative for the Portuguese football star also confirmed the marriage, saying Ronaldo and Rodriguez had completed their civil ceremony in Cascais and were officially husband and wife.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Ronaldo’s representative said: “Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez married today in a civil ceremony in the city of Cascais in Portugal, and have officially become husband and wife”.
The ceremony was held in a “private and family” atmosphere, with their five children and close relatives present.
Rodriguez has been with Ronaldo through a major part of his recent football career. The couple began their relationship in 2016 and announced their engagement in August 2025.
