Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has alleged that he lost $4 million in what he described as a real estate scam after purchasing a property in Lagos.
The artiste made the claim during an Instagram Live session, where he said he recently discovered that the property he bought did not belong to the individual who sold it to him.
According to Bella Shmurda, the seller disappeared after the transaction was completed, prompting him to seek legal intervention.
The singer said he has already contacted his lawyer to investigate the matter and determine the next course of action.
“I’ve got nothing left,” he said while appealing for help.
“Nigeria, I need your help. I am not okay right now. I lost $4 million of my hard-earned money to buy stolen property.
“The seller has disappeared. Please, help me. Someone steps in. I just contacted my lawyer for further investigation,” he claimed.
Bella Shmurda did not disclose the identity of the alleged seller or provide further details about the property during the livestream.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from law enforcement authorities regarding the allegations, and the claims have not been independently verified. The singer said legal steps are now underway to investigate the transaction.
