The Bauchi State Government has named Alhaji Haruna Bako as the interim sole administrator of Nigeria National League club Wikki Tourists.
The appointment, announced on Thursday, follows the dismissal of Salmanu Abubakar after the club’s relegation at the end of last season.
Bako is to assume office immediately as the state government moves to rebuild confidence in the club’s administration and strengthen efforts to secure a swift return to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Wikki Tourists are currently preparing for the 2026/27 NNL campaign under newly appointed technical adviser Bala Abubakar.
