The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has recorded significant progress in strengthening its structures and advancing its political agenda as National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, marks one year in office.
Yilwatda, in a statement on Friday, described his first year leading the party as a period of service, responsibility and collective achievement, while pledging to continue efforts aimed at building a stronger APC.
He attributed the party’s progress to the commitment of its members across the country and thanked President Bola Tinubu for his support and confidence.
The APC chairman also acknowledged the contributions of the party’s National Working Committee, governors, lawmakers, leaders and stakeholders, saying their dedication had helped drive the party’s achievements.
According to Yilwatda, the APC has focused on strengthening internal unity, improving party structures, expanding consultations and promoting accountability among members.
He said the party’s recent electoral victories reflected continued confidence from Nigerians, adding that the APC remains committed to delivering progressive governance and national development.
Looking ahead, Yilwatda pledged to strengthen internal democracy, modernise party administration and deepen engagement with members in support of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He assured party members of his commitment to leading with fairness, transparency and dedication, while working towards a more united and stronger APC.
