Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has announced a free music concert scheduled to take place in Osogbo on April 24, featuring his son, B-Red, alongside several popular and emerging artists.
The governor disclosed details of the event on Wednesday via X, describing it as an inclusive gathering designed for all residents of the state, regardless of political affiliation.
“Osun, this free concert is for each and every one of you,” Adeleke said, adding that the show will bring together established performers and rising talents from across the state.
He emphasised that the event is non-partisan, listing major political parties—including Accord, ADC, APC, LP, and PDP—to underscore its openness.
“This ‘Get Out to Vote’ concert is for everyone in Osun State… no political divide, just pure Osun energy,” he stated.
The concert is set to hold at the Technical Field in Osogbo, with free entry for attendees. Adeleke encouraged residents to participate, urging them to “come out, groove, and let your voice count.”
Artists billed to perform include Peruzzi, CDQ, May D, Shina Peters, and Sina Rambo, among others. The lineup also features upcoming acts from Osun State.
The announcement comes amid early political activities ahead of the 2026 governorship election. Recently, Adeleke appointed his nephew, Davido, as Head of Youth Mobilisation for his re-election campaign.
The planned concert is expected to draw large crowds as entertainment and political engagement intersect in the build-up to the next electoral cycle.
