Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Flora has responded to criticism over her choice of clothing after viewers and some fellow contestants questioned her habit of wearing wrappers inside the house.
The beautician addressed the issue on Friday morning following comments suggesting she should dress differently while on the reality show.
Defending her fashion choice, Flora argued that there was nothing unusual about wearing wrappers since the Big Brother house serves as her home during the competition.
“I am in my house. I am in my Big Brother’s house that’s why I am tying wrappers. Make I come dey wear koko shoe?” she said.
Her remarks came after some viewers and housemates expressed dissatisfaction with her regular appearance in wrappers.
Fellow housemate Bells quickly came to Flora’s defence, saying contestants should not be expected to dress as though they were attending glamorous events every day.
According to Bells, those criticising Flora were the ones putting unnecessary effort into their outfits despite living in the house.
“Una dey house o. You people that use to over-dress na house una dey. She dey house na why she wear wrapper because na house she dey. We are in our Big Brother’s house, una dey dress like sey una dey go runway show for Paris,” Bells said.
The exchange has sparked conversation among BBNaija fans, with viewers divided over whether contestants should prioritise comfort or maintain stylish appearances throughout their stay in the house.
