The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has released the timetable for its 2026 Executive Committee elections, with the sale of nomination forms set to begin on Saturday, August 1.
According to the roadmap released by the NFF Electoral Committee, the deadline for submitting completed forms is August 12, ahead of the elections scheduled for September 27 in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
The committee said the “publication of rules and guidelines for the polls, and commencement of sale of forms” will take place on August 1, while “Wednesday, 12th August” has been fixed as the deadline for submitting nomination forms.
Candidates with irregularities in their documents will be notified between August 13 and 19. They will have from August 20 to 27 to regularise their submissions, while screening will take place between August 27 and 30.
The list of cleared candidates will be published on August 31. Those disqualified will have from September 1 to 3 to file appeals, with the Electoral Committee expected to determine the appeals between September 4 and 10.
The final list of cleared candidates will be published on September 11 and 12, while the delegates’ list will be released on September 13.
Cleared candidates will campaign from September 14 to 24 before the elections hold in Lafia on September 27.
The roadmap also fixed September 30 as the deadline for the submission of election petitions.
