Raphael Onyedika has been ruled out of Club Brugge’s Belgian Super Cup encounter against Union Saint-Gilloise due to illness.
The Belgian club confirmed the Nigeria international’s absence after releasing their 22-man squad on their official website.
Onyedika’s future at Club Brugge remains uncertain, with the midfielder entering the final year of his contract with the Belgian Pro League side.
The defensive midfielder has reportedly agreed personal terms with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, while Club Brugge are demanding €10 million for his transfer.
