Nottingham Forest are reportedly preparing a move for Chelsea striker Liam Delap before the close of the summer transfer window.
According to The Telegraph, Forest remain interested in the 23-year-old after failing to sign him last year, before his switch from Ipswich Town to Stamford Bridge.
The report says new Forest manager Oliver Glasner is a long-time admirer of Delap and is keen to add a powerful, quick forward capable of scoring consistently to support Chris Wood during the 2026/27 campaign.
Delap has struggled to make a significant impact since joining Chelsea in 2025, leaving uncertainty over whether he will remain part of Xabi Alonso’s plans for the new season.
