Afrobeats stars Mayorkun and Davido are set to reunite musically with the release of a new single titled “B4 B4”, scheduled to drop on Friday, July 31.
Mayorkun confirmed the collaboration on Wednesday through a post on his Instagram page, where he shared a promotional image featuring himself alongside Davido.
Announcing the release, the singer wrote: “New Music! This Friday! ‘B4 B4’ #Oriade.”
The upcoming track is expected to feature on Davido’s highly anticipated album, Oriadé, which the award-winning singer has been teasing ahead of its release.
Davido also fueled excitement among fans by responding to Mayorkun’s announcement in the comments section with a brief but enthusiastic message: “WE BACK.”
The new release marks another chapter in the pair’s long-running musical partnership. Mayorkun first rose to prominence under Davido’s DMW record label, where they delivered several successful collaborations before the singer exited the label to pursue his independent career.
Their latest reunion is expected to generate significant interest among Afrobeats fans, who have continued to celebrate the chemistry between the two artists since Mayorkun’s departure from DMW.
