Super Falcons midfielder Christy Ucheibe has officially parted ways with Portuguese giants Benfica following the expiration of her contract.
The 25-year-old joined the club from Swedish side Assi Idrottsförening in 2000 and went on to spend six years with the Eagles.
During her time at Benfica, she made 179 appearances across all competitions, scoring 11 goals.
Ucheibe enjoyed a highly successful stint in Portugal, winning six league titles, two Portuguese Cups, five League Cups, and two Super Cups.
With her contract now concluded, she is set to embark on a new phase in her career and is also expected to feature in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
