The Nigerian Army has reportedly arrested a suspected bandit known as “Sule Yellow,” a TikTok personality alleged to have been involved in kidnapping-related activities.
According to reports, the suspect was intercepted by troops while returning to a forest hideout after allegedly collecting ransom payments from the family of a kidnapped victim.
The development has drawn attention due to claims that the suspect built an online presence on TikTok, where he allegedly shared videos flaunting cash believed to be proceeds from ransom dealings.
Sule Yellow reportedly gained notoriety on social media for content that appeared to showcase large sums of money, raising suspicions about the source of his income among viewers.
At the time of filing this report, authorities had yet to issue an official statement confirming the arrest or providing further details about the operation.
The incident comes amid ongoing military operations aimed at curbing banditry and kidnapping networks operating in forested areas across parts of northern Nigeria.
