Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo has paid an emotional tribute to her late colleague and friend, Allwell Ademola, five months after her death.
In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Biola expressed grief over the loss, saying it still feels difficult to accept that Allwell is gone.
Referring to the late actress as “Eniobanke,” Biola said she misses her deeply and described the last few months as emotionally challenging.
The actress explained that she has been depending on her faith and the strength of the Holy Spirit to navigate life since her friend’s passing.
According to her, although she once appeared strong while Allwell was alive, she has since realised how much she now relies on spiritual support to cope with life’s realities.
“My precious Eniobanke! It’s been 5 months without you. It’s so hard to believe you’re truly gone. I miss you,” she wrote.
Biola added that the emotional void left behind has remained difficult to fill, noting that her heart is still broken.
She recalled missing Allwell’s smile, humour, conversations, hugs and prayers, saying no one made her laugh the way the late actress did.
The actress also said the memories they shared are now among the few things she continues to hold onto dearly.
“Your memories is all I have left and I promise to cherish it forever,” she added.
Biola further reflected on the struggles she has faced since the loss, but maintained that her faith in God has continued to sustain her through the difficult period.
She ended the tribute with a touching message to her late parents, asking Allwell to “say hello” to them and expressing how much she misses them as well.
