Winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, Phyna, has accused social media personality and activist VeryDarkMan of allegedly influencing public opinion against her following what she described as a personal disagreement.
Phyna made the claims in a series of posts shared on X on Sunday, amid an ongoing online dispute between both parties.
The controversy comes months after Phyna sought VeryDarkMan’s intervention in the case involving her late younger sister, Ruth Otabor, who died following a road accident involving a Dangote Cement truck in Edo State.
Following his involvement at the time, Dangote Cement reportedly agreed to take responsibility for the victim’s medical care.
However, tensions later escalated after VeryDarkMan stepped away from the case, alleging that Phyna had engaged the company separately without his involvement—an allegation she denied.
In her latest remarks, Phyna alleged that the activist attempted to turn public sentiment against her and misrepresented her actions during the dispute.
She further claimed that the fallout between them was influenced by personal issues, alleging that VeryDarkMan made sexual advances toward her, which she said she declined.
Phyna also shared what she described as chat evidence, insisting that she had been unfairly portrayed and vowing not to forgive him over the situation.
“He claimed I requested N1 billion from Dangote, which never happened,” she said, maintaining that the allegations were false and damaging to her reputation.
She added that she believes the situation worsened after she rejected his alleged advances, describing it as a turning point in their relationship.
As of the time of filing this report, VeryDarkMan has not issued a public response to the latest allegations.
