Cancer patients have received a major boost after the National Assembly backed an appeal by the Kenya Network of Cancer Organizations (KENCO) seeking improved treatment coverage.
Just two weeks after lawmakers unanimously supported the petition, the government gazetted reforms under the Social Health Authority (SHA), increasing cancer treatment coverage from Sh550,000 to Sh800,000.
