The Super Falcons’ planned training camp in the United Kingdom has been cancelled following Jamaica’s withdrawal from the proposed friendly fixture.
The camp was originally set for May 23 to 28, with the match against Jamaica scheduled as a key part of the programme.
It was designed to aid Nigeria’s build-up to the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Reports indicate that Jamaica pulled out due to administrative complications.
Cape Verde had earlier also withdrawn from a double-header friendly arrangement with the Nigerian side last month.
The Super Falcons will now await the June FIFA women’s international window for their next friendly engagement.
Justine Madugu’s team last played in March, securing a 3-1 win over Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses in Yaoundé. They will defend their WAFCON crown in Morocco in July.
