Michael Collins Ajereh, chief executive of Mavin Records, has described Johnny Drille as the most complete musician currently in Nigeria’s music industry.
Speaking during an appearance on the Crea8torium podcast, Ajereh praised the singer for his all-round abilities, highlighting his talent in songwriting, music production, singing, and stage performance.
According to the veteran music executive, Johnny Drille stands out because he maintains the same quality in both studio recordings and live performances, a feat he believes only a few artists can achieve consistently.
Ajereh said the singer has carved a unique space for himself in the Nigerian music scene, adding that there is currently no other artist operating at the same level of versatility.
He noted that Johnny Drille’s ability to handle multiple aspects of music creation distinguishes him from many of his contemporaries in the industry.
