Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has publicly addressed the growing reports of tension surrounding his marriage to Natasha Osawaru.
The singer spoke about the situation during Daddy Showkey’s 50 Years on Stage concert on Sunday, August 9, 2026, where he made remarks suggesting that his relationship had become a source of trouble.
2Baba’s comments came days after a reported confrontation involving Natasha at an Abuja nightclub where the singer was scheduled to perform.
Reports and videos circulating online showed Natasha arriving at the venue and asking to see her husband. The circumstances surrounding the incident have generated considerable discussion on social media.
The development also followed reports that 2Baba had moved out of their residence and blocked Natasha from contacting him.
Amid the speculation, the singer addressed the matter while performing at the concert.
Speaking in Pidgin, he said he had decided to stop looking for trouble, adding that he had already experienced enough of it.
“Going forward ehh, I don decide not to dey look for trouble again. I don go look for trouble, I don hear am.”
His remarks appeared to be a reference to the difficulties surrounding his marriage to Natasha.
When a member of the audience attempted to describe the situation as love, 2Baba immediately rejected the suggestion.
The fan shouted, “Na love now,” to which the singer responded, “Na love? You dey craze.”
The comments mark one of 2Baba’s most direct public responses to the recent reports surrounding his marriage.
His Instagram activity has also drawn attention, with the singer reportedly unfollowing Natasha and refollowing his former wife, Annie Idibia, amid the controversy.
2Baba ended his 13-year marriage to Annie in January 2025 before marrying Natasha in a traditional ceremony in July of the same year.
Neither the Instagram activity nor the concert remarks, however, amount to a formal announcement of separation from Natasha.
