Media personality Toke Makinwa has publicly introduced her daughter, Yakira Eliana, to fans for the first time as the toddler marked her first birthday on Friday.
The television host shared a series of photos on Instagram alongside an emotional tribute celebrating the milestone, describing Yakira as the greatest blessing of her life.
“The best part of my story, finally yours to meet. Yakira Eliana. My precious answered prayer. My greatest love. My greatest blessing.
“One whole year of you, and today, I finally share a little piece of my heaven with the world,” Makinwa wrote.
She also reflected on her journey to motherhood, expressing gratitude for what she described as God’s faithfulness.
“God can be trusted, God is real… Just like Hagar my mouth can testify that I have met ‘El-roi’, the God who sees me,” she added, referencing the biblical name for God as “the One who sees.”
Concluding the birthday message, Makinwa showered her daughter with affectionate nicknames before introducing her to her followers.
“Happy birthday Yakira Eliana, my YaYa, Ya Pom Pom, Ya mama, my little bum bum. Guys, meet your niece. I cooked ohhhhhh. She is beautiful.”
