Nigeria’s Super Falcons are set to arrive in Casablanca on Friday ahead of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final meeting with Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses.
The last-eight fixture is scheduled for Sunday at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, Casablanca, with kick-off set for 6pm Nigerian time.
The defending champions stepped up preparations for the encounter with a training session at the ASFAR training centre in Rabat on Friday morning.
Should Justine Madugu’s team secure a place in the semi-finals, they will return to Rabat to face the winners between hosts Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses and South Africa’s Banyana Banyana.
Nigeria played all three group-stage matches in Rabat against Malawi, Zambia and Egypt, finishing second behind the Scorchers of Malawi. Cameroon, meanwhile, topped Group D with seven points, ahead of Ghana’s Black Queens.
