World record holder Tobi Amusan delivered another commanding performance on Sunday, matching her season’s best of 12.28 seconds to win the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League.
The Nigerian star finished ahead of the American duo Grace Stark, who clocked 12.38s for second place, and Alaysha Johnson, who came third in 12.39s.
Amusan recovered from an early challenge by Nadine Visser before accelerating strongly to take control of the race and secure a comfortable win.
The 28-year-old has now recorded 12.28 seconds on three occasions this season, also achieving the mark in Xiamen and Rabat in May.
The victory marks her second Diamond League win this year, following her success in Rabat, and adds to her earlier triumph at the New Taipei City Athletics Open.
After claiming a fourth consecutive African title earlier in the season, Amusan continues to build form ahead of the Diamond League final and the Commonwealth Games.
Having previously won three straight Diamond League titles between 2021 and 2023, she remains in contention to reclaim the crown this season.
