Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna has honoured his late friend and colleague Alex Ekubo three months after his death.
Ogbonna marked the remembrance on Instagram by sharing a video featuring moments he and Ekubo shared over the years.
The compilation captured memories of their friendship and time together, offering a glimpse into the bond between the two actors.
Alongside the tribute, Ogbonna posted a brief but emotional message on his Instagram Story.
“3 months an Angel,” he wrote.
Ekubo died in May 2026 at the age of 40 following complications from advanced metastatic kidney cancer.
His death prompted an outpouring of tributes from family, friends and colleagues across the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The actor was later laid to rest in Arochukwu, Abia State, in June, where several Nollywood stars joined his family and loved ones to bid him farewell.
Ogbonna had previously paid tribute to Ekubo, describing him as someone whose presence would continue to be felt among those who knew him.
Three months after his passing, the latest tribute shows that memories of the actor remain strong among his close friends and colleagues.
