Rivers United are set to secure the services of Mukhtar Mohammad ahead of the new season after the midfielder reportedly agreed a two-year contract with the club.
Mohammad featured for Kano Pillars last season and previously represented El-Kanemi Warriors, where he gained continental experience in CAF competitions.
The player was also part of the El-Kanemi Warriors squad that won the 2024 President Federation Cup.
Rivers United are moving early in the transfer market as they prepare for domestic and continental challenges in the coming campaign.
