Frank Onyeka has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for April after an impressive spell with Coventry City.
The midfielder played a key role for the Sky Blues during the period as they secured promotion to the Premier League by winning the Championship. He made three appearances in April, providing one assist, including setting up Ephron Mason-Clark in stoppage time for the team’s third goal.
Since joining on loan from Brentford in January, the 28-year-old has recorded one goal and one assist in 14 league matches under Frank Lampard’s side.
Other nominees for the award include Christian Walton (Ipswich Town), Adrian Segečić (Portsmouth), Josh Windass (Wrexham), Mohamed Touré (Norwich City), and Žan Vipotnik (Swansea City).
