ODM party leader Oburu Oginga has said the party has no plans to field a presidential candidate in next year’s General Election and will instead support President William Ruto’s bid for a second term.
Speaking during a church service in Homa Bay County, where he was accompanied by several ODM leaders, the Siaya senator urged residents of the Lake Victoria region to vote for President Ruto in next year’s polls, saying the move would strengthen the region’s influence in key national matters.
