Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has died after a prolonged battle with cancer, nearly two years after undergoing surgery for the disease.
Osoba’s death was announced on Wednesday morning by her close associate and colleague, actor Alesh Ola Sanni, who revealed that the actress passed away on Tuesday evening.
In an emotional tribute shared on Instagram, Sanni described Osoba as a dear sister and reflected on the memories they shared.
“Couldn’t sleep since last night it’s well rest in peace my dearest sister Temitope Osoba we had amazing time and good memories together till we meet again. I really dunno what to say mehn gosh.”
The actress had publicly sought financial assistance in November 2024 to support the cost of another surgery as she continued her treatment.
Osoba had earlier undergone breast cancer surgery but continued to battle complications associated with the illness.
