Veteran Nollywood actor Jude Chukwuka has announced plans to venture further into music with the release of an Extended Play (EP) project this year, coinciding with his 61st birthday.
The seasoned actor revealed that the upcoming musical project is part of his effort to broaden his creative output beyond film, describing it as a natural progression in his artistic journey.
Chukwuka explained that the decision followed a period of reflection on how to evolve his career and explore new avenues of expression within the entertainment industry.
“I will be 61 years old this year and my EP will be out this year. I looked at my acting career and I said I need to do something to push it further that birthed the idea of the EP,” he said.
Best known for his strong screen presence in Nollywood productions, Chukwuka has built a reputation as one of the industry’s respected veteran actors. In recent times, he has also gained attention on social media for his renditions of popular contemporary songs.
His move into music adds another dimension to a career that has spanned decades in Nigeria’s entertainment space.
