Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson is reportedly seeking assurances over regular playing time before deciding on his future under new manager Xabi Alonso.
The Senegal international is expected to return to Stamford Bridge after spending the 2025/2026 season on loan at Bayern Munich.
Jackson was a key figure for Chelsea after arriving from Villarreal, scoring 30 goals in 81 appearances for the Blues. However, the club allowed him to leave last summer following the arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro in deals worth close to £100 million combined.
According to The Sun, the striker is willing to remain at Chelsea only if Alonso considers him a first-choice option heading into next season.
Jackson scored 11 goals in 34 matches during his loan spell at Bayern, where he mainly played behind England captain Harry Kane.
