Inter Milan secured their 21st Serie A title with a commanding 2-0 victory over Parma at San Siro, wrapping up the Scudetto with three matches remaining.
Needing just a point to confirm their status as champions, Inter delivered a professional performance, extending their lead to 12 points over defending champions Napoli.
Marcus Thuram opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time, driving a precise right-footed finish past Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki. Despite their dominance, Inter had to wait until the 80th minute to seal the win, when Lautaro Martinez squared the ball across goal for substitute Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who calmly converted.
Cristian Chivu celebrated his first major trophy as a manager, having previously won three Serie A titles as a player with the club. His side controlled proceedings throughout, registering five shots on target from 12 attempts, enjoying 59% possession, and creating three clear chances, while Parma failed to test the goalkeeper.
The victory continues Inter’s impressive run of form, with 19 goals scored in their last six matches and 26 wins from 35 league games this season, underlining their dominance en route to the title.
